Lufthansa selected Dulles International Airport (IAD) as the first scheduled destination for the brand new Boeing 747-8i. LH and MWAA held a lottery for 50 lucky winners to greet the 747-8i on the ground at IAD. I was lucky enough to be selected and got the amazing experience of being just a few meters from the aircraft as it touched down.
